So I think we meet at GWP at 5:00 (its on the old railroad grade that is the BGT). Then we ride to the king street station (Its a train station). Then to the Orient Express (Its a train) where we can hang out and prep for the party. I have spoke cards for most.

(Sounds like we need to stock up on Four Loco too)

F*cking Blackouts, How Do They Work??

Oh noooes!

Washington State is banning caffeinated booze, the beloved 'blackout in a can'!

Following in Michigan's footsteps? Tyranny is sweeping the nation if you ask me.

We're just going to have to find another way to black out. Booze comes separately.

Party Planning Comittee

In all honesty I have been going back and forth about how to handle the planning for the upcomming second aniversary party. I suppose It was kinda snowballing in to a personal crisis because I had become so accustomed to opperating in a sort of self made isolation brought on by several factors that include, being a new father and feeling removed from my social network, being a business owner and trying to tackle a big project all summer for a VERY important client and being largely resbonsible for the creation of a new work group within the Mercer Island Parks and Recreation Department. Basicaly, I was task saturated and wondering how I was going to pull off planning the "Biggest Party Ever". Then I remembered my favorite olde tyme expression "WehelpeachotheR" and BOOM! a weight was lifted. "I don't plan this stuff alone, we have committees for that!" I said. "Committees with lots of experience planning all sorts of things". We have engineers, programers, artists, mechanics, fasion industry professionals, teachers, resource managers and Arun! There is LITTERALY nothing we can't plan.

So... Eat a good dinner and come over to the Howell's to help plan The Biggest Party Ever. Thursday October 21st at 7:00.

Lucky 16

So, basically, I love Dominic and his IDEA to ride on Saturday. Are you with me? I have consulted the oracles and it looks like the gods will only favor a delay if we go to THIS SHOW

No Idea if FB links work for on blogger but hit me up if you fail to understand.

October already?!?!?

Halloween is aproaching quickly. If there are no good parties going down, is anyone interested in getting a team together for the Messquerade? I've never been, but hear good things. Just a thought. Also a good reason for group theme costumes!

STP43

STP43 from Dominic Henning on Vimeo.

Friday the (Lucky) 13th...

So, it's that time again. Time to ride forth and drink deeply from the tall cans of the ides of mid-month.

I personally think we should meet at Volunteer Park at 6pm and ride to get sixers of tall cans on the Hill before heading to the shores of Madison Beach. From there, we can head up to the U-district to get Pho-cked up while waiting for any of our friends who get off work at Recycled Cycles. After that, we can drink in Ravenna Park, or maybe Greenlake or Fremont or eat Red Mill burgers, and then we part ways. Who's in?

We may be able to defer this to a lucky 14 if y'all prefer a Saturday excursion with swimming and drinking. Text/email me to RSVP 4402236886 or nwhs@uw.edu so I know what we should plan for.

BunnyhaWK - In Berlin with Nate

I think we did it right, bunnyHawk style by helping each other. Nate needed a place to stay and a bike, done deal. He got not only a bike, but "The Hercules!" We rode around the first day doing errands and meeting up with a few friends. The second day was some more mayhem with rain and a sliding accident. Currently typing with one hand. Some friends opened this cool shop called Sing Black Bird. Nate was kind enough to help hang their outside signage. He also helped me out a lot with my gimpy hand. The next day was filled up with a trip to tempelhof airport and the opening party for Sing Black Bird. We worked the bar and were a team of awesomeness. I'm pretty sure we impressed the nice folks of Berlin and then some. We know how to party. Gin took care of the pain I had this evening. The last day we had vegan brunch with some rad kids that Nate knows, then did an installation in Mitte for ATM Gallery. The whole weekend was filled with one liners, jokes, booze/soda, and bikes. Of course a special song was in our hearts...

German alley-oop:
Bunnyhawk 1: "wo ist die liebe maschine?"
BunnHAWk 2: "ich bin die liebe maschine!"

As always, all bunnyhawks are welcome to my home here in Berlin.

Report From Berlin

Hot damn kiddies - miss my BunNyHaWks in Seattle. However, we have population one in Berlin so that has some sort of bragging rights... right?

Berlin is a crazy fun city to ride your bike in. There are many bike lanes, most are on sidewalks and made of bricks or cobblestone which makes it fun. There are no hills here, but it gets windy as all get out. Oh, and most policemen here hate bikes and love giving out tickets. They have a laundry list to pick from when doing so. Tempelhof Airport just re-opened to the public so you can ride your bike on the landing strip with some old school roller-skaters. And taking a fun 30 min ride out of Berlin takes you to some pretty amazing forest areas with swimming.

Once I meet some more kids to ride with here I will take more pictures, in the mean time gaze on this:

Getting Meow-ied

Anyone know this guy? I hear we're not invited to this bachelor party. Actually it was the most fun I have had in a while. Highlights:

1) Sneaking a baby in to a bar
2) Winnebago with sink tap.
3) Unicorn Jizz
4) Disappearing for a few hours to sober the F up only to return to Stace calling someone a "fat bitch" to their face.
5) Dominic giving said girl the plunger.
6) Da Popodot.

Nice work B!

Guangzhou's International Cycling Group

Adam is in China. I am posting as his proxy. He says scroll to the bottom but if you have a hangover and some time just read the whole damn thing. Adams email is quoted below.

"I came across this while searching for bike stuff in Guangzhou since I’m spending a few weeks over here for work. I was going to post it but china blocks out some sites like facebook, youtube, and blogspot.com so I cant bring up the page while I’m here. In case you ever wanted to know how to pee while riding a bike, this site gives you instructions. Scroll to the bottom."

Rainier on Rainier

Monica had this brilliant idea to drag a keg of Rainier up Mt Rainier.
Apparently Joe was able to help bring it back down (after emptying it
into their bellies of course), and the AP took notice. Well played.
