don't stop til you get enough
loved kids way too much

This is my first girlfiend, her son and some wrestler that I have never seen before.. or her husband. I don't know but There is something inadvertently voyeuristic about this whole social networking thing.

I'm ill equipped for the new... thing...that's happening.

This sort of photo that lands in to your lap that has just left me asking too many strangely uncomfortable questions.

(like would I look good in his shirt?)

The Ocean Is Close... August 29th Release Party

All in all I'm very, very happy with this wall from an Artist Endeavor. What went beyond my expectations was the overwhelming response from everyone that has seen it, been there while we were painting, the press and everything else. Many of the neighborhood locals stopped by almost daily to chat with Pixel.Tron and I as we were working. We got a good amount of press on top of it as well like Daily Candy, and a handful of other supporting BLOGs like

Come Party with us and join in on the Release of this wall. It will be a good time for sure - I can promise that with a HUGE Squid & Whale battling it out as our backdrop.

You better believe I'm going to ride my bike to this... I think you should too.

-WHAT: “Squid VS Whale” by Pixel.Tron & Karl Addison
OPENING PARTY: Saturday, August 29th 6 to 10 PM.
-WHERE: The Twilight Exit, 2514 East Cherry, Seattle, WA 98122 - 206.324.7462
-MORE: PBR Drink Specials (PBR Goes To Support The Efforts Of The Mural)

Squid VS. Whale is a mural of epic proportions. The mural depicts a battle between a whale and a giant squid just below the surface of the sea. The story is being illustrated on a mural in Seattle's Central District. Artist Pixel.Tron & Karl Addison have been working for weeks to perfect the painting and it's very last detail. The 60 foot wall pulls you into their imagination; it is a must see mural in person.

The mural is being produced by two local artists from Seattle, Mr. Pixel.Tron & Karl Addison. The Central District community has many great murals and their new addition has been openly welcomed by neighbors, business owners, and many of the local residents. The concept came for a need to be challenged artistically by both artist and for a composition that could be enjoyed by all in the local neighborhood. 50 plus cans, over 9 gallons of paint & 60 hours of painting - the concept and mural is a reality for all to enjoy.

Triathacat - Alleycat with Bikes, Swimming & Running

The Triathacat is a triathlon inspired alley cat race based on both points and
time. Racers will be given a manifest at the start of the race which will
include a randpomly ordered list of check points in which you must go to in the order of your choice. At each check point racers must complete a swimming OR running activity in order to receive points. Either the swimming activity or running activity will be worth more points than the other and will vary at each check point. You will be awarded points under the discretion of those manning the check points. First place goes to the most points, followed by best time, and alternate from there on..

EVERYONE is encouraged to race, it will be FUN and you will have the option of making it challenging or easy, however expect to run and/or swim. Spandex or swim attire strongly encouraged. Your number will be written on you with grease paint. Your manifest will be on your spoke card. Bag and lock not required or recommended, we will have someone to watch your belongings while you race. Beer and jubilation at the finish.

Sponsors include:
Anchor Tattoo
Fire Horse Forge
2020 Cycles
Der Hammer
Cupcake Royale

Possibly more to come..

If anyone is unable/uninterested in racing but wants to be involved please contact me, I need help manning check points. - 425.361.3841

(reposting) Barathon IV: A New Hope

August 15th. 6pm at the Starting Line.
Route Map and Details ARE HERE!!!

It's time for Barathon and this year the teams got new colors: red, white and (motherf*@king) blue*. That's right, we're celebrating 'Merica.
So call Joe Six Pack, get your uncle out of rehab, fly your cousin in from Mississippi and (re)learn those words to the Star Spangled Banner because this time we're not humming it bitch.

A route map will be sent out shortly, detailing the rest of our glorious route. As before, we'll stay at each bar for 45 minutes: showing our athletic prowess for drinking, fraternizing with the bar patrons, and encouraging others to throw on a 'stache and join us. With five minutes to go Coach Stace or a Senior Captain will give a whistle blow signaling the five minute "down your drink and start stretching" warning.

We'll be giving Drunk of the Hour awards throughout the night, culminating in the Grandest Prize of All: 'Drunkest Person in America.' Aspire to win this, team because the winner gets a free Bald Eagle tattoo**

Barathon makes no guarantees. But we will guarantee you this: IT WILL BE THE GREATEST NIGHT OF YOUR LIFE.***

Encouraged/Bring to Barathon:
Winning Attitudes
Shortest Short Shorts
$$$ to buy drinks (Freedom is Not Free)
Face Painting (gotta show support to the team)
President Obama
Mustaches (obvs.)
Bedazzled Sweatbands
An Uncle Sam Costume

For the more visual folks out there, or those who can't read, feel free to look at the over 500 pictures taken at our last Barathon.

* Note to Canadians and other foreigners: Maple Leaves and other homeland patronage is permitted for those of you who hate freedom.
** Bald Eagle tattoo must be purchased indivdually and will not be paid for by Barathon.
*** May not necessarily be true, but it will be in the top 5.

Lucky 13

Its that time. I thought we could all go to BuNNyHAwK Nancy's art opening. Click the image to enlarge. (Duh)

The event is from 6-10
Lets meet at 5:00 at Anarchist Point in GT, ride to the Town Hall meeting on Mercer Island, present a report on the trail conditions of Pioneer Park and then ride to the Gallery. (This is what I will be doing anyway)

We could also just meet at the gallery at 8:30 and ride to Redwood or Marco Polo for post art drinks.

Any better ideas?

Better Late Than Never

My dad had to send me the photos from our party because... well... I didn't take any.

Forgot how crazy this scene was.

Thanks everyone for making it a success!!!
Lets do it again next year.

My dad sent this to me via snail mail. It's from his daily safety
calendar from work. I can just see OSHA pitching a fit over my commute
to my union job on Mercer Island.
