OK... Good news. We are going to reschedule BowlinGHawkS so as to not conflict with Erica's Birthday.
Badnewsis I have another birthday that I commited to months ago and forgot about so I will be in the mountains skiing next weekend.
Right now I have "Santarchy" sleighted for the morning of the Sat. the 12th dovetailing nicely with BowlinGHawkS in the evening which will dovetail nicely in to Lucky 13 if we are strong and brave. This could be one of those classic BunnYHawK trainwrecks of fun meets prolonged boozing meets someone crashing in to something meets laughing and screaming.
If it goes just long enough we will see god.

Helmet of the Week
Saw this guy at the fiddler's Inn in Wedgewood while drinking a
farewell beer with the Boedekers.
farewell beer with the Boedekers.
I told him he had just won the coveted "BunnYHawK Helmet of the Week"
award and he was amenable to having his picture taken.
Sweet.

Food for thought
I have no idea how to go on this one. I was just about to come to a conclusion when I was distracted by this video from Boediecycles:

BowlingHawks
I've been talking about this for some time now, but it must happen soon. A group ride up the trail, with a drinking stop at log boom, of course, to Kenmore Lanes for bowling. Afterward riding back to the city for a stop at a bar to be determined.
I know holiday times are upon us, so I could use some feedback. Is anyone interested? What day would be best? Can I carry a bowling ball in my bag? Does anyone even bowl anymore? Let me know. It might be a good ride to tide us over before the second annual Civil Rides Movement.

The Luckiest Lucky Thirteen
This Friday is the most important BunnYHawK holiday. I don't know how many times a year we get to celebrate (I leave the math to Burglar) but Friday is most deffinately one of them. I don't think we should take this lightly as this is also going to be the one year anniversary ride as Sunday the real aniversary is a shitty day to ride because... well... because Sunday is for sitting around in your underwear nursing a hangover. (or riding the Cedar River Trail, whichever comes first.)
Anyway I need this. We need this.
Shall we say GWP 6pm?

BHalloweEN
That's it. One more Halloween down in the unstoppable march towards eternity. We did well despite the fact that a month of unemployment left me with more beer gut than will to ride up hill. Its not easy to cruse around in any kind of costume. Fortunately we did have a genuine contender for "most dangerous" Adam's mask brought his totAL visibility down to two tiny specks set about an inch in front of his pupils. He got a tee shirt, we got candy and beer (and falafel).
The after party was wonderful. very well done indeed. A proper send off for some of my favorite people. Greg, Charlotte we gonna miss you guyz (of course you too Forest we all should have known you better)
LOve and LUck!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cedar River Trail Sunday
That's it y'all. I've had it with this metropolitan, "oooh, we rode over I-99, spooky..."
We need to get back to our transcendentalist roots where we can bike through nature's splendor: salmon, dangerously wet leaves covering the bike path, refreshing malt beverages, bridges spanning lakes and rivers and, of course, bunnyhawks.
We'll do the aforementioned in 47 idyllic miles this Sunday at 10am. Meeting place: Interlaken Pl and 24th Ave E. Bring some water and a good attitude, this may be similar to 'Hilloween.'
